Information On Registration

                                                    REGISTRATION

WHO: All children from grades one through ten are invited to register.

HOW: All students must register each year.  You may register online HERE, download a form HERE, pick up a form at the Rectory Office, Religious Education Office, or call the Religious Education Office at 781-235-5012.

NECESSARY INFORMATION: Any child wishing to make his/her First Communion must have completed one year of religious instruction and be baptized.  All First Communion candidates must provide a baptismal certificate if he/she was not baptized at St. Paul.  Please list any medications, special needs, or learning problems on the registration form.  This information can help us provide a comfortable environment for your child.

WHEN: We offer families both Wednesday and Sunday classes, however, the day you choose must be kept for the balance of the program year.  Classes are held on Wednesday afternoon for grades one through five from 2 p.m.to 3 p.m. Classes on Sunday morning are held from 10:15-11:15 a.m. for grades one through five and from 5:00-6:00 p.m. for grades six through ten.

WHERE: All classes are held in classrooms in the school building, Parish Hall and lower church

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR CHILDREN

A special program is offered at St. Paul for families whose children (ages 10-18) have not received the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist or Confirmation.  A period of religious education is offered during the regular instruction time on Sundays, 10:10-11:15 a.m.  For more information, contact Kathleen Curley in the Religious Education Office at 781-235-5012.

CONFIRMATION:

The Confirmation program is a two year program for students in 9th and 10th grade.  Confirmation 1 & 2 process is completed, ordinarily in the 10th grade.  Students attending Catholic Schools are not required to attend 9th grade classes, but must register ( tuition fee does not apply).  All 10th grade grade students, including Catholic School students, must register and attend classes. 

The program consists of class meetings, worship, guest speakers, service (such as parish volunteering, food drives, fundraising for special causes), and a Confirmation Retreat.  For more information contact Kathy Curley at 781-235-5012.
