This approach to reading the Bible is not recommended for beginners. Although some stories will be easy to understand and appreciate, specific books can become quite confusing. The American Bible Society publishes a Daily Bible Reading Guide, available here. You can also download a PDF version of the reading schedule in English or in Spanish (2012 versions).

Daily readings from the Bible can also be read according to the Lectionary. These readings can be viewed online as text or as video, or listened to online here
