SPECIAL GUESTS AT MASS: Each month we feature one grade as the special guest at the 9:00 a.m. Family Mass. Those who wish to participate can be greeters, readers, help to write the Prayers of the Faithful, and assist with the collection of canned food during the offertory.

BIBLE SUNDAY: Fourth graders are presented with their own copy of an illustrated, easy to read Bible which includes a reference text, chronological chart, and geographical maps.

NATIVITY REENACTMENT: Third graders are invited to participate in our Christmas Eve Family Mass by reenacting the Gospel story. One rehearsal is required, there are no speaking parts, and costumes are provided.

GOOD SAMARITAN SUNDAY: On the first Sunday of each month, children in grades five and six have the opportunity to assist with the preparation of sandwiches for local food shelters.

YOUTH MASSES: Our Collaborative Sunday 5pm Mass is a deliberately youth-centered liturgy, with our young people central to and actively involved in all aspects of the Mass. From the music, to the homilies, to the Spirit-filled sense of vibrancy and joy, we are prayerfully approaching a liturgy that touches the hearts and minds of our young people and all who come to celebrate the Mass and grow in faith together.  This is a truly collaborative liturgy, moving from week to week between St. John Church and St. Paul Church during the school year:

On the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month, the Sunday 5pm Mass is at St. John
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, the Sunday 5pm Mass is at St. Paul

Please visit our Sunday 5pm Mass page for more details and the complete schedule.

LIVING WAY OF THE CROSS: On Good Friday, children in grades four and five reenact the Stations of the Cross during the Good Friday Service at noon. One rehearsal is required and costumes are provided.

FOOD DRIVE: Each Lent, all grades participate in a food drive. All collected food and toiletry items are donated to the local agencies.
